This rose gold filled ampersand bracelet is a versatile piece that means something different depending on to whom it is given.
Hand-formed by Make Pie Not War, this is one of my favorite things on Etsy right now and I think you’ll agree.
Ampersand Bracelet
This ampersand charm is handcrafted and placed on a simple chain link bracelet.
Given as a gift to yourself, it can mean simply: “live & be present” or “I can & I will”.
An ampersand bracelet given to moms is an extension of life; you “&” me are connected.
Ampersand bracelets given to your bridesmaids/best friends is a continual circle of friendship, everyone connected; everyone included.
Given as a gift from the groom to his bride, an ampersand simply means “you & me forever”.
And I think that’s the beautiful thing about this bracelet: it has the power to mean anything to anyone. That’s a whole lot of sentimentality wrapped up in a memorable, wearable work of art.

This bracelet reminded me of the famous Johnny Cash quote, but I accidentally threw an ampersand in there and I guess it never even existed. But it’s pretty, so I wanted to share.
When Johnny Cash was asked about his description of paradise, he said simply [referring to June Carter]:
“This morning, with her, having coffee.”
Inadvertently, I remembered it as “AND having coffee”. But I guess there was never an ampersand in there to begin with, oh well. ;) Maybe it will mean something to you, so I’m passing it on anyway.
The folks at Reloved Lumber made a beautiful art piece commemorating this very quote.
Back to the ampersand bracelet: you can buy it here in the shop from MakePieNotWar.
As a bonus, you’ll get free shipping on your order of $20, so that includes this sweet bracelet piece.
It makes a great gift for Mother’s Day or as a thank you gift to bridesmaids for “standing by & loving & supporting & keeping you sane” on your wedding day. Or even as a be my bridesmaid gift idea.
The ampersand bracelet means anything you want it to!
That is what makes it so lovely.
Hope you enjoyed this find + share your thoughts in the comments.
