You’re welcome! I’m happy to have found it, too. What a cute idea.
!! I did this for my husband 3 years ago tomorrow for our wedding! it even turned out to be 52 things with the tag line “hundreds more to come”. it lives in his bedside table. That’s amazing that someone’s had the same idea :)
Awww, that’s sweet! I love how you said it lives in his bedside table. It’s nice to know how much he appreciated it.
Hey.. Its great one..!! Thanks for sharing…
Great idea! I’ll try to do this for my fiance :)
This is so cute! I’m going to do this one day :)
so cute, just love it!!!
This is so cute! I would make this for my guy. It’s cute and sentimental. It means more because it’s something you made with your hands. Also, it’s something your future family can look back on.
iliked ur remarks!
I did something similar when I was getting married. I dicut 100 pink hearts and wrote one thing I love about my husband on each one. Then 100 days out from the wedding I would hide a heart each day. He loved it!
Since the first anniversary is the Paper anniversary, this is also a good gift for it. My husband and I will be together for a year come monday, and I’m loving making this for him!
Thanks for the great idea!
Smart idea, Erica – I didn’t even put the two together about the Paper anniversary. Great point!
Lovely idea. Very romantic x
Good idea, very different indeed :)
Love the idea. Great !
Love this! Stumbled upon this awhile ago and didn’t know what I would use it for, but then I realized it also works as a Mother’s Day gift. I’m working on mine tomorrow, and I can’t wait!
Any suggestions on where to purchase the binder rings?
Hi Mariah,
What a great idea! Your mom will love it. You can buy the binder rings at any office supply store, like Office Max or Staples.
Happy Crafting!

I love the card idea!
Will definitely be doing this for my honey! Thanks for the great idea.
This is so cute and the fact that is hand made is even better.
adoreble..♥♥
That’s cute! I’ll made one for my soon-be-husband for sure :) It’s a nice part-gift for Norouz ceremony of us Iranians :)
Its absolutely beautiful and the fact that it’s hand made makes it even better.
Where do you find/buy extra scrabble tiles?
I absolutely LOVE this idea!!! So easy and so personal!
I made one of these for my fiancee this past Christmas and he loved it! He had proposed a week or so before Christmas and we had decided not to do big gifts this year. It was the most inexpensive thing in his stocking, but after reading through them, he started to well up. It was awesome! I wrote mine on paper by hand and then glued them on. I also added little sketches and cut the paper in shapes that went along with the “reason” that was on the card. I spent $3 and 4 hours, and I couldn’t have asked for a better reaction.
Tori,
That’s awesome! I’m sure your fiancee loved his gift. It’s true, handmade gift are always the most appreciated. I bet it was fun to craft, too!
Thank you for stopping by and sharing your story!

This is such a sweet idea. I’m definitely thinking it will make a great anniversary present.
This is adorable and such a great idea! I think I am going to do this or something similar. Instead of doing the scrabble pieces I might do poker chips with our initials on them.
This is a perfect first “paper” wedding anniversary present! Thank you!
SO glad I found this. My boyfriend LOVES creative, home-made gifts and his birthday just past so I have been looking for new things that aren’t too girly. Now I know it’s directed towards a “spouse-to-be” but it’s our one year in december and I am a perfectionist SO this is the perfect project for me to do and have done AND to my liking by december. THANK YOU for thinking of this. (found via StumbleUpon haha) You are awesome. xox
I love, love, love this idea! What a cute and fun way to say “I love you!”…so adorable! xo

This is darling! Oh so cute. I am definitely going to do this for my next anniversary. every year I do a gift and a homemade note or collage and last year I decorated a dvd case with pics of us and a cd of all of our songs. This is great for this year! Thanks so much

Would make for a fun Guest Book idea too at a wedding!
What a great, crafty idea!
Really a great idea for something unique… Could be a great item to share with guests at the wedding near the sign in book!
This was such a cute idea! i didn’t quite use it for my soon to be husband, but my boyfriend who is going off to the military. love this!
How creative !!
About to get married (I’ll be the groom), looking for small little things to add charm. Something like this may be it. Our wedding is kind of contemporary country themed. I don’t know if the playing cards/scrabble pieces are the right aspects but I love the ___ things I love about you in a small booklet style…
(P.S. So happy I found your site via StumbleUpon)
I love this project so much I’ve featured the project on my blog! Hope you don’t mind… <3
