Looking for a hip flask, but not just any flask for groomsmen? You’ve come to the right place! We make it our mission to find the latest and greatest wedding ideas with groomsmen gifts being an often-researched one. :)
That’s because every season, new and unique groomsmen gift ideas come into the foray and we’re always so excited to share them with you.
One of those ideas? A hip flask. But this hip flask isn’t like the typical flasks you’ve seen time and time again. Those are nice and all, but THESE hip flask styles are awesome and come in two distinct designs.
Before we start, if you’re wondering what is a hip flask, the answer’s easy: it is a small vessel for holding liquor. A flask can fit into a coat pocket and is a popular gift for weddings because groomsmen like to toast to the groom with a liquor of their choice (typically whiskey or scotch).
PRO TIP: In addition to toasting the groom, a hip flask is nicely accompanied with a cigar during the toast in celebration. You can find custom cigar boxes here.
A hip flask makes a great groomsmen gift because it is personalized with your groomsman’s name, the wedding date, or anything you’d like.
In addition, a flask is a gift he may not already own — and if he does, he certainly won’t own a cool one like this from Swanky Badger.
Let’s take a look!
Hip Flask
There are two very unique flasks we want to show you: a black steel flask and a glass flask. Let’s explore both.
Steel Hip Flask
This steel hip flask is matte black in color (since it is a coated steel) which looks sharp in contrast to the stainless steel finish on the engraving.
Since your hip flask gift comes with a stainless steel funnel, so there’s no spilling when filling it up. :)
It holds up to 7 oz of beverage and even comes in a gift box with a silver embossed logo on the outside.
These hip flasks are easily the coolest modern style drink vessels we’ve ever seen; when you present them to your groomsmen as gifts, they’ll be really excited to start using them.
These black hip flasks come in a variety of engraving styles including the initials inside a circle, diamond, hexagon, or in a line down the side of the flask.
Glass Hip Flask
If you prefer a glass flask, this is the style for you. It features a cork top and the coolest engraving on the side of the bottle. It has a clear design so you can see the beverage inside.
This flask holds 200ml of beverage and, while it appears to have whiskey inside you’ll need to add that yourself (although they add in the shop, “we would if we could!“, which we love).
You can see more designs in their Etsy shop or website website.
Happy Planning!
