Hi, lovelies! Happy Monday! Today we’re tackling a new Ask Emmaline question from bride-to-be, Lisa, about traditional guest book ideas. She asks,
I’m planning a vintage inspired wedding with a color palette of ivory and gold with black. I need a simple guest book that looks elegant but I’m not sure what style to go with. Any tips?”

Traditional Guest Book Ideas
Great question, Lisa! Classic (traditional) guest books are always a favorite! Guest book alternatives can be fun, but many require additional accessories and steps for guests to take. A traditional guest book requires just a signature (and a little message, if they wish) from guests which usually yields more signatures. Plus, you can use a simple pen marker (like this) and the signatures won’t rub off or bleed through the page. And storage for a traditional guest book is easy: it fits on any bookshelf after the big day!
Here are a few examples of what to look for (we spotted these guest books at Daisyblu) for a wedding theme such as yours. You really can’t go wrong: find a guest book pattern or style you love. This gold pattern is my favorite and would tie into your theme beautifully:
Black and white is always in style and goes with everything, like these monogram or textured guest book ideas:

Which one is your favorite?
