Let me rephrase that, do you like Christmas gnomes? To me, they are two entirely different things, apples to oranges comparison, if you will. Normal garden gnomes freak the heck out of me, and I’m not sure if it is because of that old episode of Goosebumps as a kid where the gnomes came to life and mucked up all kinds of stuff.

But regardless, when I spotted Christmas gnomes for sale making a whole new name for themselves on Pinterest this year, I realized, okay, these Christmas gnome creatures are actually kinda cute. So, it’s either me realizing that gnomes do not in fact come to life and muck up things; or, it’s just that I can’t help but fall for a cute, handmade Christmas gnome constructed of faux fur hats and shearling beards and holding things in their hands like peppermint lattes, hot cocoa, dangling their legs over the mantle, or dressing in repurposed sweaters and fun knit socks.
You’ll see what I mean in a minute.
Regardless, there are truly a plethora of Christmas gnomes on sale that exist and won’t give your kids nightmares.
