Hello, loves! Happy Friday! In my book, I talk about how important it is to add a handcrafted touch to every aspect of your wedding. Today, you’ll find out how easy it is to personalize wedding invitations in three easy steps and make yours stand out among the rest. Instead of an overwhelming list, I’ve narrowed it down to three of my favorite elements. Read on to find out what these are (+ get inspired with handmade finds!)
1. Order a custom wedding invitation suite.
You’ll want to begin with a handmade, custom wedding invitation. We love this cheery yellow invitation suite by Wide Eyes Design which has a rustic feel.
For an invitation that has texture you can feel, opt for letterpress! This style is also by Wide Eyes Design.
2. Have ’em handwritten.
If you are blessed with pretty penmanship, spend time hand-addressing the envelopes yourself. Or, hire a calligrapher that can tackle the tas for you. The result? A more personal, elegant envelope upon arrival to your guest. The calligraphy shown below is by Made In The Fold.
3. Add a coordinating envelope seal or sticker.
Finally, add a personalized sticker or label that complements the color palette and/or feel of your invitation. For a rustic invitation, opt for a custom kraft label or sticker, which can be added as an envelope seal to the back of your invitation. These kraft labels are by Vanilla Skys.
See? It’s easy in 1, 2, and 3. Now you have beautiful personalized wedding invitations that will stand out in guests’ mailboxes. Have another style in mind? Shop the Marketplace for inspiration.
Happy Planning!
