Happy Monday! It’s one of the best weeks of the entire year → Christmas week! Only a few more days until Santa comes and I can’t wait! To kick things off this week, we’re sharing one of the cutest engagement gift ideas ever. If you (or someone you know) recently got engaged, this is one of the best gifts we’ve seen yet. This ring dish is custom designed to tell the story of where it all began, whether a coffee shop, college, a New Years Eve party, or, you know, a winter dance back in high school. (That’s me & Andrew’s story!) Read on to see a few examples of ring dishes made for real couples by Magic Markings Art. Enjoy!
Meet John and Jenna! They are an awesome couple and friends of ours. Their October wedding was a beautiful experience that happened at the Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in Rochester, New York. There are many gorgeous details and magical moments captured by their photographer Justin from 375 Photography. Their wedding reception took place in the school’s chapel which was both holy and magnificent. After saying I do, John and Jenna walked through the prestigious halls of the school while guests waved ribbon wands and celebrated their marriage. John and Jenna’s wedding had a classic theme thorough their decor. We loved their centerpieces, which included small white pumpkins (perfect for fall) and a combination of mercury glass votive candles and baby’s breath in tall vases. Before dinner, guests enjoyed touching speeches from family and friends; after dinner, dancing ensued, along with a party that people will never forget. We’re so excited to share their photos with you! In addition to their unbelievable photos, you’ll find a video captured by the team at Roc Focus. If you watch the video you’ll get the chance to see their entire day from start to finish. The love Jenna and John have for one another and their amazing wedding moments await your eager eyes…
Happy Friday! Emma here. One of my favorite gift ideas for 2016 weddings has to be one of these photo frames. I know, photo frames have been a gift idea for decades, but these are different — each frame is unlike any you’ve seen before. The lovely Laura of Montana Snow has designed these beautiful rustic photo frames as lasting keepsakes for years to come. Instead of fussing over a glass holder (and those annoying picture holder metals on the back that always chip your nails), these frames hold pictures in place with a sturdy clip. You can swap out photos in an instant right from the front or hold a small stack to keep on rotation at your desk. Plus, these frames are customized for your recipient, whether it be yourself (try a newly engaged frame or just married photo frame like these), your mom or dad (try these), or your grandma or grandpa (they’ll love these). There’s a little something here for everyone! Take a look at our favorites below and — you guessed it! — enter for a chance to win one as a gift for your parents! Good luck!
Here’s my favorite photo frame for newly engaged couples! Add a photo of the proposal, your engagement ring, or the two of you right after you said “Yes!”:

Do you crave chic, swoon-worthy paper goods for your big day? You’ll love Citrus Press Co., one of our favorite designers of save the date cards, invitations, and more. If you’re newly engaged and excited to share the news about finally setting the date, one of these cards will do the trick! We’ve rounded up eight lovely finds to inspire you. Which one is your favorite?
Stylish Save the Date Cards
Let’s begin with my absolute favorite from Sarka’s collection: the watercolor-infused save the date with botanical print. This save the date card is especially frame-worthy!
Our amazing wedding giveaways just keep getting better and better! We’ve joined forces with the amazing Flutterbye Prints to give away a custom fingerprint guest book to one lucky Emmaline Bride reader! This is one of the coolest guest book alternatives we’ve seen yet. Basically, here’s how it works: you send in two fingerprints (one of yours, one of your fiance’s) using their print kit. Then, they make a custom print using your actual fingerprint in the design with your choice of colors. Guests then sign around the print at your reception; frame and display it in your home after the big day.
