Father Recreates Wedding Photos with Daughter to Say Goodbye
In Moving Without Mom, Ben Nunery and his daughter, Olivia, recreated wedding photos to say goodbye and honor late wife and mother, Ali. Ben and Ali got married in 2009 after recently closing on their house. Since they hadn’t moved in yet, they utilized the empty house as an opportunity to have their wedding photographs taken inside. Four and a half years later, Ali tragically passed away from cancer. When Ben and his daughter, Olivia, were preparing to move into a new house, they wanted to find a way to honor Ali and say goodbye to the memories the three shared together. So, Ben decided to recreate their wedding photos as father and daughter. These photos are so real. So raw. So emotional. Take a look at the beautiful memories they created thanks to Melanie Tracy Pace, Ali’s sister and talented photographer.

What a remarkably moving and inspiring story. We wish Ben and Olivia all the best and we are sorry to hear of Ali’s tragic passing. This is a beautiful way to remember and honor her life, and will be a lasting memory for Olivia as she grows up.
Each day is so precious.

I’ve seen these before, but they’re so worth viewing again. So bittersweet, such a beautiful tribute, that I’m sure both Daddy and daughter will always treasure.
I think I saw these awhile back, and the waterworks just started again when I stumbled upon them. I agree, so worth viewing again! Thank you for stopping by and commenting.
