Hi, loves! Happy Monday! Holy cow, that was a fasssssst weekend, wasn’t it? Emma here and today we’re talking about easy wedding projects. It’s one thing to take on a wedding project that is easy, fun, and looks great.
However, it’s a totally new ballgame when you tackle a project that becomes a pain in your you-know-what. ;)
That’s why we’re focusing on these fun + easy wedding projects you can do yourself that will make a real impact on your wedding. You’ll be proud to call these projects your own and tell guests, “Yeah, I made that!” Putting your own handcrafted touches on your wedding will make it memorable and one-of-a-kind.
Let’s roll up our sleeves + get started!
Easy Wedding Projects
EASY WEDDING PROJECTS – 1. Make your own DIY wedding bouquet
This sounds like a big project, but really… it’s not! Thanks to the easy tutorials at Cascade Queen Designs, you can make your own wedding bouquet from wood sola flowers. Since these are not fresh flowers, you don’t need any experience working with floristry; instead, you’re working with painted wood flowers and can arrange them in a variety of ways.
Also, since they’re artificial flowers, you won’t need to worry about assembling this project close to your wedding date to keep them looking good; you can assemble months before the big day and set aside for the moment you need it!

EASY WEDDING PROJECTS – 2. DIY S’more Wedding Favors
You can make your own wedding favors, especially these easy s’mores wedding favors, with these tags from Crossvine Designs as one part. We outlined the entire DIY project here with all the supplies you need.
EASY WEDDING PROJECTS – 3. Make your own wedding welcome sign
You can make a beautiful sign (and one of the essential signs for your wedding, as outlined here) that looks like these examples with a simple decal!
Simply order the decal from OldBarnRescueCompany and add it to your favorite mirror, chalkboard, old glass window, etc. Then, add some greenery on the top or flowers around it to deck it out. It’s so easy! Plus, you can source the signage from local garage sales, estate sales, or even your own home (or ask around to friends and family).
Get the decal here to start creating your own welcome sign!
You can buy a freestanding chalkboard like this from here. It is available in multiple colors and, the best part is, after the wedding, you can remove the decal and use the signage however you’d like!
For vintage-inspired, ornate, or farmhouse-rustic mirrors, browse these designs. There are so many I’d buy for my own home! Again, you can re-use these at home as decor after removing your decal from the wedding, so it’s money well-spent. If you need to, these can be propped against a tree or table; or, see if your venue has an easel you can borrow. Since these may be heavy, you’ll need a heavy-duty, sturdy easel (or you can source your own here).
EASY WEDDING PROJECTS – 4. DIY Bridal Headpiece
Want to make your own hair accessories? This is another tutorial from CascadeQueenDesigns that we adore! It uses sola flowers and accents for a headpiece you can wear during the ceremony and reception, or just at the reception when you remove your veil. These are so lovely and you can customize the colors you use to suit your own style. This detailed tutorial will show you how to make two styles of crowns and a headband from start to finish! Get the tutorial here.
EASY WEDDING PROJECTS – 5. DIY Succulent Wedding Favors
These beautiful succulents can be purchased and turned into take-home favors for guests at your wedding or bridal shower. We love these plants because they are extremely hardy; they require very little water and care!
You can buy succulents in bulk here from ShopSucculents and then add them to these cute pots (from LeBoxBoutique) which are 100% biodegradable for sustainability.
EASY WEDDING PROJECTS – 6. DIY wedding place cards + ornaments
You can make these acrylic place cards-turned-ornament favors with a little hand-lettering style, these acrylic round discs, these fast-dry paint pens, and lace or ribbon. If you prefer, add the table number to these and they can be escort cards at the front of your wedding instead. These discs are by UNIQUOO.
You can even display them from one of these cool trees. By Simply Mad Weddings.
EASY WEDDING PROJECTS – 7. Make your own DIY balloon garland
Balloon arches are such a fun, on-trend style right now! Get everything you need to construct your very own balloon garland from AllEventsPrints; I love this look!

EASY WEDDING PROJECTS – 8. DIY balloon decoration
Similarly to the above, you can get a balloon decoration kit, as shown below, with everything you need! It dresses up an empty wall at your reception and adds a fun focal point. By ScriptedInDesign.
EASY WEDDING PROJECTS – 9. DIY wedding confetti toss bags
Cue the confetti! Order these personalized confetti toss bags, made for you by Mavora here, and fill with your own confetti. We recommend something biodegradable, so it’s better for the environment. Birdseed even works great outdoors, since birds can just eat it up! ;)
You can get biodegradable confetti in your choice of colors from Pomtree to fill up your bags.
Then, just place these bags in a basket at your ceremony entrance for guests to take; they’ll toss when you’re officially married and walk down the aisle together!
EASY WEDDING PROJECTS – 10. DIY wedding geometric centerpieces
Make your own modern centerpieces with this geometric base, filled with flowers of your choice! It’s so easy: get the geometric centerpiece base here from LoveandLuxeHandmade.
You can get adorable faux ranunculus bouquets from AnnieThompsonFlowers to put in small glass vases, as shown below.
Get small glass vases to put them in from here.
You can also add beautiful table runners to dress up your tables; we recommend gauze table runners, like these by LinenLark.
It would also be nice to place these geometric centerpieces atop these wood slices (from RusticWoodSlices) if you’d like to add a rustic touch.
