We received an Ask Emmaline question recently and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Bride-to-be, Meghan, asks us, “I want guests to sit anywhere they want at my ceremony, rather than traditionally on the right or left depending on whose family they are from. Any tips?” Great question, Meghan! A new-ish trend that we’ve seen (last year in its peak and continuing through this season) is the idea of ‘Pick a Seat Not a Side‘. Easily conveyed to guests in a sign form, this ensures guests mingle and sit together rather than moving from one side to another. Read on to see an example of this idea in action and enter for a chance to win one by the lovely Citrus Press Co.!
Pick a Seat Not a Side Sign
This wedding seating sign by Citrus Press Co. will welcome guests and let them know where to be seated at your wedding. We love the style of this sign, which features a vintage vibe set atop a chalkboard-inspired style. It reads, “As two families become one today, we invite you to choose a seat, not a side.” You can pick whether you want a poster with or without borders. Final size is 18×24 with a luster gloss poster paper. This poster is best framed or mounted on foam core.
