It’s nearly spring, but you haven’t ordered wedding invitations yet. Yikes! If you’re planning a spring wedding invitation, you’ll want to order invites immediately.
Before you panic, don’t! We’re here to help. :) In this blog post, we’re helping you – and bride-to-be, Laura – who sent us this Ask Emmaline question. Her wedding is quickly approaching and she needs spring wedding invitations immediately. Is it too late to order them?!
She writes,
“Dear Emmaline, I’m planning an April wedding and I’m so far behind on wedding invitations. Can I still order spring wedding invitations at the last minute? My colors are green and light pink, but I’m flexible on styles. I’m hoping for something floral. At this point, I just want to make sure I can get them in time. Please help!”
Great question, Laura! And don’t worry. We got you!
You can definitely get spring wedding invites but you’ll need to hurry. You mentioned your wedding is in April. Anyone who is having a wedding in March, April, or May need to order and send those invitations – stat. You’re cutting it a bit close, but you’ll find easy solutions below.
First, use our wedding invite calculator to send them on time. Your invites should be in the mail no later than 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding. And don’t forget to pad in a little extra time for printing and shipping.
Next. choose a design that doesn’t require too many “extras”, which add on to printing time. A standard wedding invitation and RSVP envelope is a great combination – and if you order them from Minted (where these invitation designs are from), you’ll get the outer envelopes free of charge. You can even get free addressing on the envelopes, too, so that you save a little time.
Now, let’s get started: you have some spring invites to choose! Enjoy!
