The couple Tracy and Andy were married overlooking the lake last summer surrounded by family and friends. Their wedding included a rustic theme with mason jars, a wooden cake stand, and much more. The couple decided in addition to a photographer capturing their wedding, they also sought the creative talents of a videographer.

Burt Lake Wedding

Andy Owen tells us, “Tracy’s family had owned this land on Burt Lake for years, but when the two of them announced their engagement, her parents offered to build a home on it and so they began construction over a one-and-a-half to two year period to have the house ready for their big day on August 25th, 2012. The ceremony was held on the front lawn overlooking Burt Lake in Northern Michigan and the reception was held beneath a large tent out back with the dance floor inside their beautifully decorated garage. The Yellow House (as it’s affectionately known), was really more than a venue, but a centerpiece or even a character within their day. Tracy & Andy made sure to include as many of the things that they loved about Northern Michigan as they could into their wedding without getting distracted from what really mattered that day, their love for and vows to each other.”
