And let me just begin by saying this is one of the sweetest couples ever. Their smiles tell it all — they are so happy to be married! And I love everything about Carla’s dress: long lace sleeves, floral appliques, short length, and those pointed toe ankle-strap flats? Stunning!

The bridal bouquet is incredible! Pink peonies and eucalyptus? Yes, please!

Check out their venue: The Historic Smithville Inn! It looks incredible, all decorated for the holidays with red bows, greenery, and twinkle lights.

The decorations at the reception were elegant and lovely; pillar candles shone brightly above the tables along with greenery and hanging candlelight holders. The place settings had gold chargers, hand-written place cards, elegant floral arrangements.

The fireplace made a nice mantle for displaying family photos; the hearth made the space look extra-cozy.

Yes, there was even a carousel!

They used a fun guest book alternative: Jenga blocks! Guests signed their names directly onto the wood blocks with sweet messages; after the wedding, Carla and Jimmy can play the classic game and read notes from their guests. (If you want to recreate this at your wedding, use this classic set and have guests sign with these markers; they won’t smudge + work great on wood.)
