Melanie and Douglas’ Connecticut Scottish wedding was on a beautiful fall day last October. Their wedding has a distinct flair that not only made the entire day marvelous, but the photos are, too! Robin from Robin Dini Photography captured the wedding and tells us more after the click…
Connecticut Scottish Wedding
Robin tells us, “Melanie and Douglas planned a romantic traditional Scottish wedding. They invited family and friends from all over the world to the manicured grounds of the historic Eolia Mansion at Harkness Park in Waterford, Connecticut. The bride wore a custom made lace wedding dress with a strapless gown and lace overlay jacket. From head to toe, the veil was elegant and regal. The flowers created a warm scene for a tranquil sunset ceremony surrounded by family and friends. Candlelit round tables filled the first floor of the mansion and the back garden of the estate hosted the site for introductions, toasts, words of advice, and a hell of a great party!”

I love traditional Scottish weddings, since I’m hoping to have one myself! Love the groomsmen kilts. Great inspiration piece, thanks so much.
