Have you ever dreamed of planning a romantic wedding in Italy? Then you’ll want to see this destination Venice wedding! Their wedding was planned with the help of Jayne Seddon from Venice Events. Jayne tells us, “Nikki and Damian are from the UK. They contacted us in July 2014, asking for information on organizing their wedding in Venice, Italy. They had the idea of an intimate wedding, to include their beautiful children, close friends and family. Although a small wedding, time and care was taken over choosing the location, menu, details and accommodation to suit them. Communicating for over 18 months, we got to know each other quite well and will remain friends. As a wedding planner, I have to say this is one of the nicest families I have had the pleasure to work with. Their civil ceremony took place in Palazzo Cavalli, a beautiful room overlooking the Grand Canal in Venice. The couple enjoyed a romantic ride to St Mark’s in a private gondola, while the guests enjoyed a short stroll to St Mark’s Square for photographs. Their reception took place on the restaurant terrace of the Starwood Europa Regina Hotel with its fabulous view of the Santa Maria Delle Salute church on the Grand Canal. Enjoy!
