You’re going to love this DIY Chicago wedding! Christina and Barry’s DIY Chicago wedding is full of details and color that will inspire you. More about those details in a minute. Their wedding this past September was held at the Columbus Park Refectory. The location is both elegant and natural that serves as an amazing space for an outdoor wedding. Now about those details: starting with Christina, you’ll find a custom wedding gown, handmade veil, and pretty bouquet. Barry’s penny farthing cufflinks just speak cool as do the groomsmen with sunglasses. An interesting thing you’ll notice is the groom showing off veggies and spices grown by himself that actually made it into the salad. The DIY pops with puffy tissue paper poms under the arbor, detailed place settings with mason jars, vases with fresh cut flowers, rock candy favors, and wooden table numbers. The custom detail that might spark your interest the most is handcrafted sparkler holders for the “sparkler farewell”. Other special details that are sure to catch your eye are the custom wedding cake, candy table, and nifty pins. Their spectacular wedding and all of it’s many details were captured by Luis and Clarissa from I Luv Photo. See their amazing photos and all the DIY after the click…

It’s just beautyful!!!
Wow! This is just so awesome! I love the last picture where the couple were surrounded by fireworks.. Awesome picture! Their photos also look great.
I wonder what camera the photographer used for those kind of shots.
DIY weddings are quite popular these days. I’m also surprised they used round tables because longs tables are also trending these days.
Thanks for sharing this post.
Just love the playful, fun look of the reception tables!
