This Kansas City engagement session was a blast! You brides are sure to love Jacky and Derek’s Kansas City engagement session in the Crossroads Arts District. The arts district landscape has a ton of fun and funky decor adorning buildings and ramparts. The district’s pictorial backdrop provided awesome photos of Jacky and Derek as they walked around downtown looking boss and hip. Some of the most unique photos include Jacky and Derek stumbling upon a piece of artwork of Humphrey Bogart, finding a deer escapee from the local archery range, and playing puppets mastered by an unknown puppeteer. Kansas City Engagement Session
Darbi tells us, “One of my favorite engagement sessions took place last October. I have shot before in the Crossroads Arts District, but this time, we explored alleys I’ve never gone down before and these two were crazy. Jacky was a good balance of glam meets edgy. And Derek was one smitten guy, darn adorable himself. These two, hands down, make for an incredibly attractive couple. But they’re not just looks. They have personalities that totally inspired me from beginning to end. They were game for anything… they were goofballs… sassy… flirtatious… and playful. They really showed their love for Kansas City by rocking their surroundings. The last pic–the owners of the building came out and told us that the mural was BRAND new… and we were the first to take pictures in front of it. Score!”
