Rig and Danielle’s Elkridge Club wedding in Baltimore was magnificent! Their wedding has a classic feeling and elegant theme. Dennis Drenner Photographs captured their wedding and all of its personal, intimate moments. Read on to find out more and enjoy the photos…
Elkridge Club Wedding
Dennis tells us, “Rig and Danielle are an interesting match and a great example of opposites attracting. She is a real Montana cowgirl, while he is the scion of an old Baltimore family, but they get along like crabs and Old Bay seasoning! (in case you’re not from the Mid-Atlantic, that means they get along great!)”
“The ceremony was held on a beautiful Fall day at the Church of the Redeemer in Baltimore. Afterwards, we got outside for some quick portraits in the last light of the day. Just as I began to do Rig and Danielle’s portraits, a blaze of amber light burst from behind the clouds, sending me into an excited (and productive) photo-frenzy.”
“Afterwards we all headed to the reception, held at the Elkridge Club. A former fox hunting club once in the outskirts of old Baltimore, the Elkridge Club is now very much inside of the city — but still surrounded by beautiful grounds and now a golf course. Guests enjoyed cocktails overlooking the 9th hole as the sun sunk beneath the horizon and the band starting tuning up their instruments.”
“Much merriment ensued, beautiful cowgirls danced with dapper young lawyers, the bride and groom were both well-roasted in some hilarious wedding speeches, and the guitarist played at amazing speed with the guitar held behind his head. All in all, a night to remember for all!”
