Hello, hello! Happy Thursday! We’re kicking off this beautiful Fall morning with a handmade wedding featuring DIY details by the bride herself! The bride – Audrey of French Knot Studios – handcrafted the details herself! She loved planning her wedding so much that she branched out into a business to help other brides. She her inspiration and relive her whimsical handmade wedding day (with photographs by the oh-so-lovely Izzy Hudgins Photography in 3…2…1…
Handmade Wedding: Audrey + Quinton
Audrey fills us in on the details, beginning with this pretty letterpress invitation suite, “designed and printed by French Knot Studios. The envelope liner was necktie fabric that had been scanned and printed.”
Audrey’s something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.
The hairpiece featured a vintage brooch and coral feathers, made by French Knot Weddings.
The groom requested Georgia Tech suspenders, which were handmade by the bride.
The ring bearer and flower girl outfits were made by French Knot Weddings.
The arch was made of fabric pinwheels, paper garland, and glass glitter LOVE letters. Cocktail tables had dipped bud vases with felt billy balls.
Audrey commented on how much she loved her bouquet and shares a special moment from her day: “The florist knew my love of sparkle and hand glittered the roses. A balloon release honored Q’s deceased grandparents (a King family tradition) and other friends and family who could not be with us.”
The bar even had custom handmade wedding details, like “sip and repeat” straws in the signature cocktail, a cucumber, lime, and mint champagne spritzer.
Centerpieces were made up of the bride’s milk glass collection and table numbers she embroidered by hand.
To decorate the head table, Audrey used a seersucker tablecloth with prairie points.
Audrey made sure to keep kids happy. She tells us, “The two kids tables had lollipop centerpieces, craft paper, and a collection of games and coloring books delivered with each course of dinner to keep them happy.”
“Instead of saving the top of the cake, we decided we would just get mini ice cream cakes for our anniversary.”
The cover of the wedding album featured a cross-stitched wedding party portrait.

Love the colors! The arch at the alter is too cute and the bride’s bouquet is gorgeous!
Lovely all handmade items looks awesome. Specially the wedding gown and Suit looks so beautiful.
What a fun wedding! I love how her necklace matched his boutineer! Also the red polka doted vest over a blue shirt with a yellow tie for the little boy! How adorable! Everything didn’t have to be the typical matchy-matchy for it to come together so flawlessly!
