Are you planning a spring or summer wedding? Then you’ll find some fantastic ideas from this Maypole inspired styled shoot! The location was at the breathtaking Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Michigan. This photo shoot was created and captured by E’Lisa from E.C. Campbell Photography. E’Lisa tells us, “This styled shoot is perfect for spring! It combines a maypole with lavender, lilacs and a watercolor twist. I had a vision a ways back about a maypole. I thought it would be a unique and stunning element to add to a wedding. Picture little flower girls and ring bearers twisting the ribbon around the pole. I love it! A maypole is a beautiful symbol (originating in Germany) in which people traditionally dance around on May Day, but it has also become a symbol to celebrate spring and summer… being grateful for the warmth and new life and vegetation those seasons bring. I thought it could be an amazing element added to a wedding, but I wanted to give a bride even more to be inspired from if she wanted to incorporate this into her wedding.”
