Meet Chris and Krystle. Their Metro Detroit wedding was this past August and it was fantastic! They started the day off by getting ready at the local Hyatt Place Hotel. From there they traveled to Bay Court Park in Independence Township for their ceremony. It was a beautiful day and the weather was perfect. A neat aspect of their ceremony was their pet, a teacup pig named Dexter. Their ceremony included a unity candle along with the pouring of two craft beverages into one glass which they shared. It was a unique and special aspect to them.

After the ceremony, great beer, laughs, and photos ensued at Rochester Mills Beer Company. But it wasn’t until they got to their reception at the Myth Golf and Banquet Center, that the party got started!

Great speeches, dancing, and a sparkler sendoff completed the night.

Chris and Krystle are both huge fans of the horror genre, so they decided to do a zombie photo shoot the day after the wedding. How fun!

Krystle tells us, “Make the day your own. People will try to tell you what you should and shouldn’t do but ultimately it’s about what was special to us. Don’t sweat the small things. There’s always the possibility of something not going as planned but it shouldn’t take your focus off of your significant other. Enjoy your wedding, have fun, and celebrate, because it’s over in a blink of an eye and you won’t want to miss a thing! Make sure you have a great DJ to keep the party pumping along with a photo booth. They make for a fantastic night that will keep your guests talking long after your wedding. I know ours are still talking about it!”
