Meet our featured couple, Alyssa and Herb. Their recent winter wedding (in a gorgeous palette of mint and pink colors) was held at the Paint Creek Country Club. Their day started off with the couple getting ready before meeting each other for a first look in the romantic wintry woodsy landscape. Alyssa and Herb shared warm embraces and were whisked away to their church ceremony at the Lake Orion United Methodist Church. Immediately following the ceremony, they headed off to the reception at the country club. Alyssa + Herb’s Paint Creek Country Club Wedding
Every bride needs her “Something Blue” down the aisle. These I Do stickers are a cute idea! (By Your Happily Ever After.)
The bridesmaids wore these purple silk kimono robes while getting ready — a great choice that won’t mess up hair and makeup before getting dressed! Spotted at Gentle Sateen.
We love this photo of the bridal party above the dresses right before getting ready. These mint bridesmaid dresses are such a pretty shade!
The photographers captured the groom and groomsmen getting ready, too. Here’s a unique shot: the last time you’ll see Herb without a wedding ring!
After getting ready, the bride and groom met for a First Look.
Although it was cold outside, the bridal party was all smiles and kept warm with these elegant faux fur boleros.
We love Alyssa and Herb’s choice of wedding cake topper: an acrylic topper with “Mr and Mrs” and their last name.
Before the ceremony, they took a few candid shots in the woods. (This is a great time to capture photos in winter months while it’s still light outside!)

At the reception, they chose a unique guest book print instead of a traditional book. Guests signed their names directly onto the print, which is now a keepsake for the couple’s home.
