Pretty Winnipeg Wedding
Janessa tells us, “I have always loved coral, it’s been my favorite color since I don’t know when! For the wedding I wanted a more subtle, girly, pastel color and peach was perfect. We had a hard time finding dresses that matched the color I wanted, but we eventually did and I am so happy with how perfect they were. I have a very vintage taste and my husband was very happy to go along with what I wanted (even though he has more modern taste) and grey just watches with everything. It’s softer than black for a summer wedding, but still so classy. Bow ties were also a must; I had my sister (my maid-of-honor) help me find those online.”
“Planning was fun at times, stressful at times, and crazy at times! I was in my masters of OT all throughout the year we planned, and I am not sure how I got through that year (ha!) Planning a wedding and social were like two extra huge assignments. However, I had tons of help from our families and my bridesmaids.”
“My favorite moments included having both of my parents walk me down the aisle. It was beautiful to be able to do that with both of them; the pictures of us together on the aisle turned out amazing.”
“Seeing Chris smile as I walked down the aisle was one of the best moments of my life.”
“My favorite part of the reception was being carried out by Chris on his shoulders. It made for an awesome and fun entrance, and it was something that we said we wanted to do right when we started planning. It was the most uncomfortable I have ever been (my dress was unbelievably tight and I was upside down for so long!) but it set the stage for the fun night we had planned for our guests.”
“I am so happy with how everything turned out! I wouldn’t change a single thing!” That’s what we love to hear.
