Stunning, Stunning, Stunning! We’re just in love with Erin and Shaun’s Girdwood, Alaska wedding, captured by the talented Renee Vanni Images.
First, read this super-sweet engagement story shared by Renee:
“On Labor Day, they made a climb to the top of Flat Top Mountain of Anchorage, Alaska. The fall colors were beautiful. As the Fall air grew more chilly, Shaun headed to a small bench with a large rock boulder behind it, to block the wind. Believe it or not, the clouds parted and sun poked through. Shaun then grabbed Erin’s hand and assumed the proper position, by kneeling down. He then told her how much he loved her and asked her to be his wife. He knew that Erin would want to choose her own ring, so in lieu of having a ring for this moment, he held a small heart shaped rock. The same rock that Erin had given him years before and it travels with Shaun in his flight bag.”
Awwwwww. :)
Erin and Shaun’s wedding took place on June 19, 2010 at the hotel Alyeska Resort in Alaska. The ceremony was held inside a small intimate log chapel (how romantic!). Afterward, hey pulled away in a vintage 1950’s Mercedes provided by owner, Hank. LOVE it.
