If you’re planning your wedding during COVID, we’ve got to hand it to you: it isn’t easy! If it is safe to do so in your area, there are still many restrictions in place, then restrictions lifted, then put back on again which can make planning your wedding during COVID a total whirlwind — and we totally understand. You may have already postponed your wedding once; perhaps you’re planning a very small wedding now, or a large wedding but further in the future when you’re not sure if you’ll still need to take the same coronavirus wedding precautions. Things may seem uncertain and it may really feel difficult to plan, so today we’re sharing five things you can use to make things a little more fun.

Here are the five (kinda fun!) things you may want/need to get you through your wedding during COVID-19. We are wishing you health + wellness!

Besides the obvious things like social distancing, elbow ‘fives’ instead of full-on hugs, and plenty of soap and water for washing hands, here are a few things your wedding during COVID may require.

1. Quarantined Tees.

2. Face Masks.

This one is obvious, but your venue may not provide them (and the cost may fall on you). I actually heard the other day that some venues are reviewing contracts and ADDING ON a line item where the couple needs to provide masks to the waitstaff and change the way the dinner is being served (from family-style to buffet, self-serve).

And that just about does it! You might also want tons of lawn games outdoors so guests can keep their distance yet “hang out” (i.e. cornhole, which you can definitely practice social distancing).
