We thank featured photographers, Natalie and Jamie, from Borrowed Blue Photography based out of Baltimore, Maryland for the superb story and images.
Natalie tells us, “Kristina & Mike’s wedding was full of DIY and personalized items. The cake topper consisted of two birds dressed for a party. The guestbook was an old record that guests signed with a silver pen. Kristina’s green clutch was made for her by an etsy artist, and her neighbor designed the flowers the morning of the wedding. The tables were decorated with terra cotta pots with a variety of herbs, and each pot was marked with a stone that said the name of the herb. The flowergirl carried down the rings in a beautiful birdnest. The paper products were all decorated with designs that included birds. To celebrate their Italian heritage, an aunt made some green Italian cookies! Kristina wore beautiful jewelry and to-die-for green shoes that matched her clutch. During the formals at Kristina’s house, a neighbor’s cat visited and made the couple burst into laughter… and of course find a hair remover for Mike’s pants! Everything was so wonderfully put together, and their guests had a blast dancing the night away beneath the tent!” :)

SO many cute touches with this wedding, wow! The record instead of a guestbook, the little birds for the cake topper, and what is up with that cat walking by, haha! They did an amazing job with their DIY wedding, it looked very personal and unique.
