Napa Destination Wedding
Jen tells us, “Sarah and Joel, who live in Chicago, chose Napa for their small destination family wedding, and landed on a vineyard estate so exclusive I’m not even allowed to name it here – just a matter of right-place-right-time for them! Their vision for the wedding was a rustic, elegant family celebration surrounded by vineyards, and their planner Jennifer Stone of La Grande Fete helped them find this gem nestled in the hills on the east rim of the valley. Dinner was on the large porch of a country barn, and dancing was inside the gloriously decorated barn – draped in linens, twinkling lights, and gorgeous flowers.”
Some of my favorites elements:
“The bouquet was personalized with a gorgeous locket holding a photo of the couple’s one-and-only first love, their puppy dog, and also with a tiny hankie that was originally given to the bride by her aunt when she was born.”
The couple had a custom engraved wine box, into which they placed a select vintage of wine (from the private estate winery hosting their wedding) and notes written to each other. The box was to be locked and not opened until their 1st anniversary.
