If you’re planning a winter wedding, don’t miss today’s Real Wedding feature! It is sure to give you lots of inspiring ideas for your own wintry wedding theme. Many couples choose ice blue for winter weddings in January, which looks beautiful, but we really love how Amy and Jonathan chose icy metallic silver and a bold pop of purple instead. What a fabulous color combination! To tie in the color palette, the bridal party wore purple floor-length convertible bridesmaid dresses paired with pashimas (which even featured each bridesmaid’s monogram in purple embroidery — great gift idea!) The bouquets and boutonnières were infused with color and featured soft purple roses, greenery, and silver. They used silver candle lanterns atop mirrors and embellished with green pine wreaths to pull in elements of the season. To top it off, they had purple uplighting at their reception to really bring in the color.
