Wondering where to buy blanket scarves? They’re here! Subscribe now for the latest to your inbox.
The blanket scarf: it is a functional, cozy, and stylish gift. I bet you want one for yourself and a plaid blanket scarf for every bridesmaid in your wedding party. You want one for mom, for when she puts her feet up on the couch and watches her favorite tv show. You want one for grandma, for your aunt, and you want one for all your girlfriends this holiday season at the big gift exchange. Heck, you might even want something similar for guests at your wedding (because who doesn’t love to snuggle up in cozy fuzzy comfort?)
As a mom, I want one for the playground and when I go on grocery store runs, coffee in hand; or going with the kids and hubby on a trail walk.
I love a good blanket scarf especially when it is a TRUE blanket scarf. A true blanket scarf is big enough to wrap around yourself like a blanket, yet is not too heavy; this allows you to wear it with style as a trendy scarf around your neck and unwrap it around you when you get chilly. However, on my recent quest for the best blanket scarves, I found out the cold truth: not all blanket scarves are created equal. (Note: a blanket scarf is the big sister to the shawl — the shawl is more like this and not quite as large.)
Where to Buy Blanket Scarves
On my quest to discover where to buy blanket scarves, I realized many fell lower than my expectations. Perhaps I have high expectations, or maybe I think you should always get your money’s worth. Whichever the case, it was surprising.
I quickly looked where to buy blanket scarves in-store and online and it was obvious that many lengths were much too short, fabrics were a little too thin, and even some blanket scarves were rough or itchy — and who wants to wear that?! And even worse, I could tell (based on reviews and/or my own in-store appraisals) that some blanket scarves were prone to fray, unravel, and appear “worn-in” way too quickly. To me, that’s a real bummer.
This time of year, you can go to practically any major retailer and find shelves of colorful plaid blanket scarf and wrap options. Oh, they’ll pull you in with a cheap price tag but that’s exactly what you’ll get — a cheap plaid blanket scarf with no real warmth, weird frayed edges, a shorter length, and total lack of personalization. Those are great for wearing on a quick coffee run, but at the apple orchard when you leave your jacket in the car so you don’t have to carry it? Yeah, a cheap one isn’t going to cut it.
If you are totally serious about buying a blanket scarf — a REAL one — you turn to a professional, someone who has made it her passion to provide her customers with the most luxurious blanket scarves on the planet. Meet RosaGold, our recommendation for where to buy blanket scarves that are cozier, fluffier, longer-length, and more stylish than any we’ve seen on the market.
A blanket scarf like this is what I imagine when I dream up cozy comfort; it’s one of those scarves you can give as a gift and know it will be appreciated and treasured for years to come. It’s the blanket scarf everyone wants. And now you can see it for yourself — and maybe even win one of your very own!

Where to Buy Blanket Scarves
Investing in the best blanket scarf is like buying a really great pair of dress pants for work that look professional, but they’re technically leggings. You’re pulling off a great look and you’re totally comfortable doing it. It’s a win-win. And for gift-giving, when it comes to blanket scarves, you’re giving the gift of warmth, style, and, by kicking it up a notch with these personalized blanket scarves, you’re giving a treasured keepsake that you can’t buy off the rack. These are not available in store. These are handcrafted, hand-personalized, and hand-shipped by an independent seller. And she even donates a proceed of sales to charity. Win, win, win… and huge win.
One of the biggest differences we noticed in these blanket scarves is the stylish and on-trend personalization available. Perhaps a cursive or traditional monogram isn’t your thing; it’s not necessarily my thing either. That’s why I love the fonts and style options available from here. Check out these examples, below. (P.S. If you’re nervous about being able to pull off the look, it’s E A S Y! Here’s a step-by-step guide to how to wear one.)
And here are some of our favorite patterns and plaid blanket scarf styles available now in the shop.
Which one is your favorite? I can hardly pick just one, as they’re all really beautiful. However, if I have to pick a fave, it’s definitely a tie between the gray and black scarf pictured in the first image or the bright red plaid scarf shown in the list above. ↑
