Are you looking for comfortable wedding slides? We found ’em! Read on to find out more + subscribe for the latest.
If you’re looking for a pair of women’s slides or fantastic flat wedding shoes, you’ll find them here! We spotted these bridal mules (aka wedding slides shoes) at BIRDIES and they the comfiest party-all-day, dance-all-night backless flats you can buy.
But unlike other slip ons you’ve seen, these bridal slides are elegant enough to wear for your wedding day. They also make beautiful shoes for bridesmaids to wear — or anyone who is looking for ultra-comfortable slide on shoes for work or date night.
These backless (yasss, no back-of-foot rubbing!) flats are easy to slip on, go from day-to-night, and some of the new styles offer a leg-lengthening pointy toe. (P.S. I was having the hardest time finding slide on pointed shoes for the longest time, so I’m glad I stumbled upon these!)
TL; DR
Before we get to the shoes, we’re tackling a few questions about slide-on shoes that you may be asking yourself, as I was. Let’s get started!
What are slide on shoes called?
They are called many names! We’ve heard them referred to as:
– Slides
– Mules
– Slip-on Shoes
– Slide Ons
– Slip Ons
We’ve even heard them referred to as house shoes or slippers. :) But these shoes are definitely more dressed-up and polished vs. slippers. They feel comfortable like slippers, but they look stylish. Win-win!
What kind of socks do you wear with mules?
The best socks for mules are these from TeeHee Shoes. They won’t show any sock at all, and you won’t be a sweaty mess (and your shoes won’t stink!) after the big day.
These are also great and have extra padding; they make awesome no-show socks for mules. By HUE.
How do you keep slides shoes on your feet?
A good pair of socks inside (especially the kind with the cushion included) will give that added layer to keep slide on shoes from, well, sliding around all day. When you “wear in” your shoes a bit before the wedding day, they’ll be more fitted to your feet. Making sure you have the right size of bridal slides is also important; if they’re too big, they’ll never want to stay on. If they’re too small, they’ll pinch your feet. Find a happy medium, somewhere in-between. (According to their store, these women’s slides fit true-to-size.)
Are these shoes just for weddings?
Heavens, no! You can wear slip-on shoes for anything: wear slides on your wedding day, to work, at home, on your honeymoon, running errands, or just because you think they’re cute. They work just as well with a dress as they do with a pair of your favorite jeans and a cute blouse for a night on the town.
How are these more comfortable vs. other slip on shoes?
They offer this unique signature 7-layer comfort cushion insole technology. It’s not just a sole and bottom; a lot of layers go into each pair of shoes!
Bridal Slides Shoes
These closed-toe wedding slides shoes are chic, timeless, elegant, and can be worn while getting ready, en route to your honeymoon, and everything in-between. If you want to wear comfortable wedding heels during the ceremony, bring along these wedding slides shoes in your bag and change into them for the reception to dance the night away. :)
When I was looking at these, I thought they also make great slide on shoes for pregnancy. (Thinking baby now or later? Follow Emmaline Baby!) When you get to the point in your pregnancy where you can’t see your feet anymore, these are a dream to slip right on. Andrew has helped me many times putting on a pair of flats even! :)
Here are our top picks for wedding slide on flats for weddings and beyond. Which pair is calling your name?
Pointy Wedding Slides
These are the newest slide on design: The Swan. It is available in sangria, gold, black, or silver, shown in order below. This backless slide on shoe makes a great pair for brides or bridesmaids to wear; these are definitely my favorite for weddings from their collection.
Wedding Flats Shoes
There are a few rounded toe women’s slides they also offer, but the stock is extremely limited. The yellow slide on shoes are my favorite.
Coral is also a pretty option!
And black — which looks great and goes with everything!
If you don’t like a backless slip on and prefer more of wedding slip on with back kinda bride, don’t worry — they have ’em, too! And they’re still filled with the super-soft layers of comfort. You can see just the flats here.
