2.) Buy your favorite hot chocolate mix and marshmallows.
The bags do not include your hot chocolate mix and marshmallows, so you’ll need to buy it separately. If you have a local Costco or Sam’s Club membership, you can probably get a great deal on bulk hot cocoa before the winter season. Or you can buy hot cocoa in bulk here (packets with mini marshmallows) or canister.
You’ll need to buy it separately, with the options shown below.
• Hot cocoa mix: we recommend this bulk box of 30 cocoa and marshmallow packets or this bulk mix of cocoa and marshmallows
3.) Put it all together!
You can either place hot cocoa packets inside the favor bags and you’re all done!
— OR —
You can buy hot cocoa in bulk here and scoop from a canister into these food safe plastic bags before putting them inside the fresh-seal wedding favor bags.
Personally, if I was making hot cocoa wedding favors, I’d want to put them together as early as possible to minimize my stress level. So, I would use the packets and place them inside the favor bags, since this ensures total freshness for a longer period of time.
If you go the other route by scooping into food-safe bags, though, I recommend doing no further than one week ahead of the wedding.
That’s it!
