Want to make your own wedding card box with zero craft skills? :) Yep, it’s totally possible and you’ll love how it looks. This glass card box is easy to make in two steps.
You guys know how much I love wedding decor that can be re-purposed after the big day, simply because:
a) you can enjoy these decorations afterward, and
b) it is money well-spent.
Win and win.
I have this small box, although it is a slightly different style than a large box we’ll be sharing here today, I LOVE displaying it in my room. I use it to hold my favorite jewelry pieces and it just adds a really nice accent piece (and hey, it sparks joy!)
Many brides shy away from DIY wedding projects because they think the item they’re crafting will look too arts & crafts-y… or they don’t have enough time… or they are simply too busy and want to simply buy everything and be done with it.
Fair enough! But we found this beautiful, easy-to-do glass wedding card box and you only need two things: a decal and a card box.
Ok, so it’s not rocket science, but the result is pretty incredible, so take a look! :)
Glass Wedding Card Box
You’ll need a custom wedding decal to place on your wedding card box. It will give it a more finished look and, yes, you can remove it after the wedding easily if you wish.
This decal is handmade by ClearCutVinyl.
Here’s the actual vinyl itself (this is the part you receive):
Here are other examples to prove you can choose a color, font, etc. to make it your own!
OK, got the decal? Check.
Now you need a glass wedding card box. You’ll add the vinyl to the front of the box. Easy-peasy.
• White Greenhouse Style Card Box
If you want to completely replicate the example, they are using the IKEA Greenhouse box. You can buy it here or from your local IKEA store. Mine is over 2 hours away, so I always like to see an online example if it costs less than actually traveling there and getting lost in the maze and then getting so hungry I eat a half-dozen of their cinnamon rolls.
But I digress. ;)
This card box is by D’Eco. It is technically a geometric terrarium glass, but it makes a modern and beautiful card box for a wedding.
Like this style instead? I love the addition of a lock and key! By NCYP.
