Have you dreamed of getting married in the mountains? Do you prefer an intimate elopement with just the two of you and your closest guests? After seeing this Real Wedding feature, you’ll definitely want to consider it! Angelyn and Justin drove up from Florida to Kentucky to spend the week in the Red River Gorge for their “elopecation”, as they wanted something unique for their big day. Once they arrived, they hiked in with their regular walking shoes and wedding attire while the team of Two Colorado photographed them along the way. When they reached their ceremony location (under a beautiful arch in the Red River Gorge), they switched into their dress shoes. As Two Colorado tells us, “They had their ceremony just as the sun was about to hit the horizon, casting beautiful lighting on the Sandstone Altar that Mother Nature had created. The only two guests were their mothers, who both traveled from Florida the day before. After the ceremony, they all went back to their cabin to have dinner. They also enjoyed a cake, made from scratch by My Tiny Wedding, using the finest ingredients.” It sounds like a breathtaking and relaxing wedding day to us! See how their beautiful day unfolded in the photos below…
