Happy Friday, lovelies! Let’s talk about F A L L. Today it’s rainy, windy. Basically, a chilly, totally gorgeous leaves-on-the-ground kind of day. I love this. Fall is my favorite season, but I know the coooooooold, freezing, six-feet-of-snow weather that required me to wear these pretties every day last year is on its way… and we don’t want you to freeze at your wedding. Earlier this week, we received an Ask Emmaline question from Nicole who asks, “I’m getting married in November and although our wedding is indoors, I want to take some photos outside. Do you have suggestions for bridal wraps for winter weddings that won’t look weird in photos?” Great question! You don’t have to freeze outside, nor do you have to wear your heavy winter coat in your wedding pics. To show you some ways to keep style in the spotlight (without freezing your you-know-what off), we’ve rounded up seven bridal wraps for winter and fall weddings. Which of these wrap suggestions would you wear? I like them all, but my personal style would be #3 (or #6, if I could pull it off). Which style do you like best?
Bridal Wraps for Winter
1. Bridal Shrug
While this one will really just keep your shoulders warm, it will add lovely elegance to your look. From Jack’s Piggy Bank.
2. Beaded Bolero Jacket
This beaded bolero jacket is handmade by Rose Red Bridal Designs and is hand-beaded with clear and opalescent glass beads. This bolero totally sparkles: the button even features a sparkly rhinestone detail.
3. Cardigan
Who doesn’t love a cozy cardigan? Make mine a light pink with sequins, please!
4. Faux Fur Shawl
This faux fur shawl is oh-so-soft and perfect for winter weddings! By Jules Veils.
5. Bridal Capelet
Ah, the bridal capelet: one of my favorite styles. I adore the ribbon tie in front. By HOBIHOLIK.
6. Plaid Shirt
Ah, the cozy favorite: a plaid shirt! Yes, this is an option and yes, we think it’s adorable.

And, I just wanted to add… if it is inclement weather outside, and you’re FREEZING and your wedding party is FREEZING, for the love of it just let them wear their coats! It will still make for an adorably accurate photo. Plus, it will absolutely keep your bridesmaids happy!
P.S. GAH I love those light brown riding boots on the right!
