Hey, hey! Friday already, how did that happen? Emma here. Occasionally (okay, frequently) I do a little online shopping. I don’t necessarily buy something, I just like to browse. It’s usually homegoods and lately I’m all about the patio: chairs, tables, pineapple decorations, throw pillows, and, ah yes, cute doormats. Now, I’m not talking about traditional coir “welcome” mats; I’m talkin’ cute doormats with funny expressions and unique phrases that make you want to take your heels off at the end of a long day. They welcome you to your front door with a smile; they greet guests with a grin. I just can’t get enough of ’em!
Personalized doormats or door mats that remind you of someone (i.e. the couple obsessed with Harry Potter and getting married in a few months, the cat lady next door — that might be me, btw) make great housewarming gifts, especially for newlyweds. When someone I know buys a house / gets married / moves into a new place, I think, they need a new doormat. I guess it’s just my thing.
Anyways, I’ve been saving my favorite doormats in a file on my computer for my big porch project that, I swear, is coming soon. I couldn’t decide on a favorite, so maybe you can help.
I want to know… what do you think of these cute doormats? Which one is your fave? They’re all from Etsy and — if I had to pick a favorite — it’s #9. It made me laugh out loud and I think it would be so fun to come home to every day and sing it for all to hear.
I went a little overboard here, but seriously; doormats like these are way too much fun to keep to oneself. Now, where to put them all… I only have two doors! Yikes. On to the list!

1. There’s like, a bunch of cats in here doormat
This one is a pretty good doormat for us. Geppetto and Jedi pretty much run this place.
So, this one’s for my dog owners out there:
How bout dah?
A reasonable request, if you ask me.
Perfect for anytime, but I’m voting this one in for fall and winter. I imagine walking in and having a minky throw blanket (this one is being called the softest blanket in the world, apparently), a pair of slippers, and k-cup of hot cocoa waitin’ in my Keurig, all on stand-by.
We are. I think.
Channeling my inner Star Wars geek here.
Just in case you were wondering.
Oh, hey Ry.
“Hello from the other siiiiiiiiiiiiide…”
Great for winter lovin’ Game of Thrones fans. I’m trying to catch up right now.
Pineapples are always a good idea.
I reckon.
I wonder if the Kardashian / West fam have this on their porch.
I really like the script and established date on this one.
For my fellow yoga luvahs:
Sweet, simple, perfect as a newlywed gift.
This local hot spot in town called Club BFD has this doormat in front of the place. I love it.
Hasta la vista!
Seriously, don’t kill the vibes.
So cool for GOT fans.
You can choose any state and city you want! Love, love, love.
Classic.
Now we’re talkin’.
For those who love to travel.
Cute and script-y and totally my style. Hey, I also like those hot pink pumps!
Simple, sweet. I like it.
Work this way, wine thatta way.
Yes. Yes to this. Lime is the best.
Yes, yes it does. Especially yes to the coffee.
“A scrub is a guy who thinks he’s flyyyyy…”
Perfect for Christmastime! #HomeAlone
Cue the Justin Bieber.
Elf! Fun fact: in college I worked at Old Navy during Christmas. They had this awesome break room with a winter wonderland theme. They had sugar cookies on standby and played Elf on repeat. They made you take mandatory breaks, which means you had to eat sugar cookies and watch Elf. It was magical.
Ah, yes, s’il vous plait.
46. She Doesn’t Even Go Here Doormat
“Do you even go to this school?”
“No, I just have a lot of feelings.”
