I especially remember the useful party favors: bags, wine glasses, or keychains that I’ve held onto for years now.

Can you have a bachelorette party and NOT have favors? Of course! They’re not mandatory, but they are a heck of a lot of fun. :)

Who Gives Bachelorette Party Favors?

If you’re wondering who is in charge of favors at a bachelorette party — who gives them, supplies them, buys them, provides them, etc. — the answer is the host! If you are the host of a bachelorette party then you are the one who is in charge of providing bachelorette party favors for guests. Most of the time, the host is the Maid of Honor or a bridesmaid; even if the host is paying for most of the bachelorette party, the bridesmaids are expected to chip in and cover portions of the party, too.

How Much Do Favors Cost?

What is the cost of bachelorette party favors? Great question: this can vary greatly from party to party, and it depends largely on the size of the guest list. Once you’ve figured out the size of your party, then you can decide on your budget and figure out how much you can spend on the party favors. Ideally, you’ll spend most of the party budget on food, food/desserts, and snacks/drinks, decorations, and hotel arrangements (if you’re hosting at in a hotel room and having guests sleepover, or going to an Airbnb, or hosting it at your own home). Additional money will be set aside for entertainment and transportation; then, gifts for the bride and party favors.

Once you’ve figured all of that out (it seems like a lot, but don’t worry, you’ve got this!) you’ll have an idea how much you can spend on them. Now you can decide if you want to give luxury bachelorette party favors or cheap bachelorette party favors. Honestly, most bachelorette parties head to the side of cheap favors because it’s usually something small and fun to take home — there is no requirement for guests to take home luxury gifts! :)
